Lip filler treatment is used to plump and redefine this part of the mouth, through the use of natural substances that are injected into the tissues. - Why is hyaluronic acid used?
- Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by our body and allows tissues to remain toned and hydrated. It is therefore biocompatible and safe. After injection, it is gradually reabsorbed by the body and gives a very natural effect.
- How long does a lip filler last?
- Dermal fillers are different and results can also vary depending on a person's age and skin type. In general, however, a hyaluronic acid treatment lasts around 8-12 months.
- How much does a lip filler cost?
- The cost depends on the type of treatment chosen. In any case, it can surprise you in a positive way. But above all, you must keep in mind that you will obtain a better result than with any type of cosmetic product with external action. Solutions such as serums and plumping creams, which must be applied daily, are certainly not cheap.
- Can a pregnant woman receive lip filler treatment?
- No. If you are pregnant, it is best to postpone treatment to avoid any risk. Check with your doctor and the doctor who will perform the procedure to find out when to schedule it.
- What not to do before lip filler treatment?
- Before a lip filler treatment, it may be advisable to stop taking blood thinning medications like aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (like ibuprofen, naproxen, etc.). However, it is important to consult your doctor before making this decision.
- What should you not do after lip filler?
- Increased blood flow to your face can make swelling worse. It is therefore advisable to avoid any physical activity for 24 hours, for example gymnastics, running, swimming, etc. It is also advisable to wait at least a day before using cosmetic products on your face, in order to avoid any particular risks.
- How long is a lip filler treatment session?
- A lip filler session lasts on average between 15 and 30 minutes.
- Can I go home immediately afterwards?
- Lip filler treatment does not involve any period of hospitalization or observation. After treatment, you can go home immediately and, after a few hours, resume all your normal activities.
- How long does lip filler swelling last?
