What is Microneedling?
Microneedling treatments are a minimally invasive, anti-aging cosmetic procedure that lifts and tightens the patient's skin while improving its texture for younger-looking skin. How does Microneedling work?
A certified technician or doctor will use a microneedling pen. The pen, which contains many needle tips, is passed over the face, allowing the skin to be pricked hundreds of times. An anesthetic cream is often applied beforehand for optimal comfort. In addition, a hyaluronic acid serum and a growth factor serum are usually applied as well, which improves collagen production. This process is repeated until the entire face is treated. Once the microneedling procedure is completed, a healing serum is applied to the skin for optimal healing and effects.
How long does a microneedling procedure take?

What is the recovery time after a microneedling procedure?
Recovery time is very, very minimal. Your skin will be swollen for a few days and may remain slightly pink for up to 48 hours after the procedure. You can return to your normal activities immediately afterwards, with little or no impact on your daily life. However, it is recommended not to wear makeup for a few days as the pores are open and healing.
